Update on Vision for Soho

Our communities are at the heart of everything that we do as a council and we want our residents and businesses to know that we are listening and acting on their concerns.

In Soho local people are rightly anxious about noise pollution, air quality, and the traffic that blights their neighbourhood.

So, we are pausing the previously proposed consultation plans, Vision for Soho, to re-examine how these issues can best be monitored and tackled in the interests of both the residential and business communities that make Soho such a special and dynamic place to live.

We want Soho to remain a vibrant centre for a diverse range of the capital’s creative and hospitality businesses for years to come but not at the expense of those that call it home.
